CONDITION SURVEYS

You may need for a Condition Survey with the purpose of visual inspecting and describing the current condition of the cargo holds and hatches of the vessel, main deck areas and cargo gears.

Visual inspection of vessel’s holds, main deck areas and cargo working areas are performed to identify any damage present prior to the vessel going on/off hire. Following the onboard survey we issue a survey report showing the outcome of the survey. This survey report to be issued in pdf format, and is accompanied by the set of demonstrating digital photos taken during the survey.

In the case  of off-hire, this survey is compared with the previous condition survey carried out to the vessel, in order to determine if new damage have occurred to the vessel from cargo operations.

Condition survey could be added by bunker survey as well in order to ascertain quantity of bunkers on board at the time on/off-hire of the vessel. The bunker survey is carried out jointly with responsible  ship’s engineering officers.
